Parking Enforcement Services, a division of the Wilson Group, grew from a need to effectively control parking for the private parking industry, particularly in open air carparks. Current control methods, including Council listing, bollards and chains, are often inadequate. Council Officers take time to respond; often allowing offending vehicles to leave without being issued an infringement notice. Chains and bollards are tiresome to collapse. This is where Parking Enforcement Services can often prove to be the ideal solution.

Parking Enforcement Services can tailor a solution for your car park whether it be one bay or a thousand. Parking Enforcement Services cover all aspects of private car parking enforcement, from supplying on-site parking inspectors to mobile automatic number plate recognition services. We currently manage the enforcement of over 8000 bays for clients ranging from small business owners to multi deck private car parks. Our mobile patrols are thoroughly trained in customer service procedures and conflict resolution. They are fully equipped with the latest video and GPS technology, enabling us to offer the best service possible.

Our services typically include:

  • Car park surveys and first line maintenance
  • Automatic Number Plate Recognition Services (patrols and surveys)
  • Parking permit systems
  • Parking enforcement officers
  • Installation and maintenance of warning signs
  • Rapid response capability
  • Collection of release fees
  • Appeals management

The Wilson Group can also offer a full range of car park management services and provide the latest parking equipment at competitive rates. We tailor our services to suit your requirements and can advise you on which of our services would be most suited to your needs.

To determine your needs, we would be pleased to attend and review your site, discuss your requirements with you and assist you to decide on the parking that needs to be enforced. We can assist you in identifying the days and times that parking problems occur so that our services can be focused effectively. We will also recommend the position and number of warning signs for your car park.

Following our review of your car park, a written proposal will be submitted to you. Should you wish to proceed with our services we will enter into a service contract with you.

Once a contract has been entered into, our maintenance team will erect large public warning signs at your site, clearly stating the consequences of parking illegally without authority. Depending on our arrangement with you, an uniformed mobile patrol officer can conduct random checks on a regular basis, or you can contact us directly on an as-required basis, and we will attend your site within thirty minutes. Once on site, our officers may issue a Parking Breach Notice to the offending vehicle.

All customers have the right to appeal in writing and Parking Enforcement Services will manage the appeals process, as well as inquiries about parking breach notices, on your behalf. Our staff are committed to providing a quick response to all appeals, with most appeals being responded to within seven days. Every appeal letter is assessed on an individual basis.
